Body Counts In The House!

Body Count is back with their new release “Manslaughter”. Body Count came out strong in the early 90’s and made a lot of controversial noise with their track “cop killer” since then in my opinion “fell off the map” the band was ravaged with some untimely deaths and it just didn’t seem their heart was in it anymore. In fact we have not heard from Body Count in years, but now they are here and in my opinion better than ever.

We had a chance to go see Body Count on October 18th, 2014 in Los Angeles California. The show was excellent. Ice T and his cohorts brought out a lot of good tracks from their debut album and also a few new tracks of the “Manslaughter” album. The venue was very very small and there was absolutely no barrier between the stage and the audience and no real security to account for, henceforth chaos ensued!

If you have been at all reluctant to check Body Count out I strongly urge you to give it a listen. The album covers a variety of topics such as the decline of originality due to the “pop bubble” people are trapped in and also attacks people that use social media to be “internet bad asses”. Check it!
