Dark Horse Receives 13 Eisner Award Nominations

Dark Horse is delighted to share with you this year’s Eisner Awards 2020 nominations. The nominees, chosen by a blue-ribbon panel of judges, reflect the wide range of material published in comics and graphic novels.

Named for acclaimed comics creator Will Eisner, the awards are in their fourteenth year of highlighting the best publications and creators in comics and graphic novels.

Best Adaptation From Another Medium: Snow, Glass, Apples, by Neil Gaiman, adapted by Colleen Doran

Best Archival Collection/Project—Comic Books:

Best Publication Design: Grunt: The Art and Unpublished Comics of James Stokoe

Best Comic-Related BookGrunt: The Art and Unpublished Comics of James Stokoe

Best Writer:
 G. Willow Wilson, Invisible Kingdom

Best Penciller/Inker: Colleen Doran, Snow, Glass, Apples

Best Painter/Digital Artist: Christian Ward, Invisible Kingdom, Machine Gun Wizards

Best Coloring: Dave Stewart, Hellboy and the BPRD, Black Hammer/Justice League

Best Cover Artist: David Mack, American Gods, Fight Club 3

Best Cover Artist: Christian Ward, Invisible Kingdom, Machine Gun Wizards
