N++ Review: Simply Satisfying

By Nolan P. Smith

Not all new games have to have the best 3D graphics to display on a 4K TV. Sometimes, you just need a game with good mechanics, tough challenges, and a lot of heart. Metanet Software Inc. brings us such a game with N++.

In this simple game, you control a ninja, trying to survive an array of deadly challenges. A smart and craft puzzle game, all you can control is a jump button to make it through the vast stages. Sounds simple enough, right? Wrong. It takes a lot to master the world created, to know how it works, and how to make it work for you.

I had never tried any of the N+ series, this was my introduction, and what an introduction it was! Set to a vibrant soundscape, it takes time and patience to master the maddening, yet well designed stages found within this game. I liked the break from the flashy shoot ‘em ups and massive sprawling RPGS. N++ is a plus in my book, and should be in yours as well.
