Check out the animated novel teaser for Poet Anderson …Of Nightmares (Simon & Schuster), the new YA sci-fi thriller from multi-platinum artist Tom DeLonge and New York Times bestselling author Suzanne Young. The animation was created by brothers Sergio and Edgar Martins. Click HERE or image below to check it out.

The first of a planned trilogy of Poet Anderson adventures from the duo, Poet Anderson …Of Nightmares recently hit No. 1 on Amazon’s Teen & Young Adult Thrillers & Suspense chart. The book is available at Amazon.com

Poet Anderson…Of Nightmares follows the epic journey of two orphan brothers, Jonas and Alan, who are Lucid Dreamers. After a tragic car accident lands Alan in a coma, Jonas sets out into the Dream World in an attempt to find his brother and wake him up. What he discovers instead is an entire shared consciousness where fear comes to life as a snarling beast called a Night Terror, and a creature named REM is bent on destruction and misery, devouring the souls of the strongest dreamers to get closer to the Waking World. With the help of a Dream Walker—a guardian of the dreamscape, Jonas must face his fears, save his brother, and become who he was always meant to be: Poet Anderson.

Last week Rolling Stone premiered an excerpt from the book, which you can read HERE.

Poet Anderson…Of Nightmares  is accompanied by the recently released four-song Angels & Airwaves EP ‘…Of Nightmares . Billboard premiered “Home,” one of the EP’s new tracks, along with an animated excerpt from the book, which can be seen HERE. The book and EP continue the story of Poet Anderson, a character Tom introduced last year with the animated short “Poet Anderson: The Dream Walker” (which won “Best Animated Film at the Toronto International Short Film Festival). That film also came with an Angels & Airwaves companion  album, The Dream Walker, which hit No. 1 on iTunes.

As recently reported in the Los Angeles Times, DeLonge has written and directed a live-action Poet Anderson short film featuring “Teen Wolf” star Tyler Posey as Poet.
