Washington State Summer Con Wows With Celebrities, Cosplay and More

There is one word to sum up our time at the Washington State Summer Con – wow!

Taking place at the Washington State Fairgrounds, there is no shortage of space. From autograph alley to the vendor and artist section there is a huge amount of space and walking room, which is a major factor when it comes to conventions. We have all been to cons where you were walking shoulder to shoulder: that was not the case here.  Where as most cons feel cramped and claustrophobic this one is beautifully laid out and spacious.

Food is easily accessed from inside or outside with a large variety to choose from. Guest line ups are top notch…..Carl Weathers, Billy D Williams, Jim Lee…..you get the point. It was a who’s who of pop culture. Organization and helpfulness of the staff is outstanding. If you are a frequent con goer you know this can be a particularly sticky area of concern.

We were blown away by this convention, being our first time visiting it. But definitely not the last.
