Warner Bros. Announces Suicide Squad Movie: Cast Includes Will Smith, Jared Leto and Tom Hardy
By Nolan P. Smith
This looks like a job for the Suicide Squad.
DC Comic’s title about villains going on insanely dangerous missions for the government is now officially set for the big screen. Warner Bros. announced today that the film will include Will Smith, Tom Hardy, Jared Leto, Jai Courtney, Margot Robbie, and Cara Delevinge. The film is slated to hit theaters August 5th, 2016.
Smith will play the masked hitman Deadshot, Leto will play the clown prince of crime Joker, and Hardy will be the leader of the group, Rick Flag. Robbie will play the ultra popular Harley Quinn, Courtney will be taking on the role of Boomerang, and Delevinge will be playing the character Enchantress.
The film has massive potential, and features a star studded cast. How will this movie tie in to the rest of DC growing cinematic universe? Are you sad to see this version of the team and not the team seen in CW’s Arrow? Let us know what you think about this news!
Will Smith is Deadshot…? I would say shoot me now, but then he’d have to make some wise ass crack about “having to get one of these” or some such.
