Dynamite's The Boys Film Still In Development

There is still hope for Butcher and the rest of The Boys.

A few months ago, Sony reportedly dropped the Dynamite comic adaptation, which left many comic fans in dismay. Well, yesterday a fan tweeted Director Adam McKay and got a very hopeful response. Here is the tweet exchange:

This is great news, even though there is no concrete news on what this means. For those the don’t know, The Boys is a story about a group of operatives who police the superhero community in a grand, bloody fashion. Dropped by DC when it first came out due to the violent and controversial nature of the book, Dynamite picked up the series and has been wowing fans ever since. An amazing, blood soaked Rated R romp, I would love to see a big screen version of the book if it was done right!
