Let’s Kickstart This! The Flight Deck: The Dawn of Aviation Playing Cards

(Victor Valley)– Playing cards have become a sort of thing for me: the various custom decks available out there are a sight to behold. But Paul Roman Martinez’s The Flight Deck still manages to stand out above the rest.

I have back a project by Martinez on Kickstarter in the past (19xx), which turned out phenomenal. So when I saw that he put up a new, aviation themed project, I had to back it, and I had to share it with everyone. Here is the description from Kickstarter:

These decks of standard poker sized playing cards and leather-bound deck holder serve as an homage to aviation from the  earliest days to the 1930s—a time defined by travel, art deco style and the spirit of adventure. Both custom decks, The Airplane Blue Deck and Airship Red Deck will be printed by the USPCC in the USA.
