Harvinger Studios shocked the action figure world when they unleashed their Savage Crucible line. With jaw-dropping sculpts and ultra-articulated builds, Wave 1’s reptilian warriors were a smash hit right out of the gate.
Now, Wave 2 brings in the humans—and leading the charge is a figure straight out of fantasy legend: Frank Frazetta’s Warrior with Ball and Chain.
First Impressions
This was actually the first figure I backed during the Kickstarter campaign—and it’s everything I hoped for. After chatting with Frank Frazetta Jr. and his team at last year’s Los Angeles Comic Con, I could feel their passion behind this figure. And now, having it in hand, I get it—this is next-level.

The figure arrives in a striking window box that showcases everything beautifully. Right out of the gate, it feels premium.

Articulation & Engineering
No heating required! That’s rare and impressive. The joints are buttery smooth, and everything feels solid and intentional. Harvinger really stepped up their articulation game here, making the Warrior extremely poseable right out of the box.
Cape & Armor Details
Let’s talk about the cape—because it’s done right. Two small paldrons plug into the back, giving the cape a perfect anchor point and an epic drape. Swapping out the hands and head? Smooth and effortless. This is collector-friendly design done right.

Simply put, this is one of the best action figures of 2025. From sculpt to articulation to accessories and smart design choices, the Savage Crucible: Warrior with Ball and Chain absolutely delivers.
