Action Figure Review: Super7 ULTIMATES! – Kull the Conqueror

Before There Was Conan…
Long before Conan the Barbarian, there was Kull the Conqueror—the Atlantean warrior-king created by Robert E. Howard. Now, thanks to Super7, Kull joins the ULTIMATES! line in all his regal, sword-swinging glory.
And let me say it right up front—this figure is amazing.
Packaging and Presentation

From the moment you open the collector-friendly packaging, you’re greeted with the kind of attention to detail that Super7 has become known for. The outer box and hidden interior artwork are phenomenal and serve as the perfect introduction to the figure itself. The presentation is sharp, bold, and deeply rooted in the retro comic book artwork that inspired the character’s modern appearance.
“The sculpting looks like the 70s artwork it’s based off of leaped off the page.”
Accessories and Articulation

Kull comes fully armed and ready for battle, including:
- Two interchangeable heads
- Three pairs of hands
- A removable crown
- Sword & sheath
- Battle axe
The figure feels solid in-hand. The joints move smoothly without requiring heat—always a welcome surprise for modern collectibles. The crown sits perfectly, and the alternate heads allow you to display Kull in either a noble or battle-ready pose.
However, not everything is flawless. Due to the design of the lower tunic, the leg articulation is somewhat restricted, limiting more dynamic poses. It’s a minor gripe, but worth noting for poseability-focused collectors.
Final Thoughts

This is a fantastic addition to the ULTIMATES! line and a must-have for fans of sword-and-sorcery. Super7 nailed the aesthetic, bringing a classic pulp icon to life with impressive sculpting and excellent accessories.
“If you’re on the fence about Kull, make the jump—bring this warrior home.”
And fingers crossed we get more of Robert E. Howard’s creations soon—can we get a Solomon Kane next?

Rating: 4 out of 5 Pastrami Nations
A kingly figure that delivers on sculpt, nostalgia, and presence.
