Battle Beast (Colossus of Emsiu Blood Splatter) Review

Super7 has knocked it out of the park with its initial Invincible releases, and the Battle Beast (Colossus of Emsiu Blood Splatter) figure might be one of the standouts of the line so far.

Available as a GameStop exclusive, this deluxe blood-splattered version of Battle Beast looks like he walked straight out of a brutal battle. The blood effects across the figure add some extra personality to an already imposing design, and the included broken sword accessory fits the battle-damaged look perfectly.

But the real highlight here is the articulation. Battle Beast features pinless articulation, double-jointed elbows and knees, and waist articulation, giving this massive character an impressive range of motion. For such a beefy figure, he can hit some fantastic poses without sacrificing the size and presence Battle Beast should have on the shelf.

The sculpt, articulation, accessories, and blood-splatter deco all come together to make this an awesome release for Invincible fans and action figure collectors alike.

Super7 came out swinging with this line, and if Battle Beast is any indication of what’s ahead, I can’t wait to see what’s next.

The Verdict: A massive, highly articulated Battle Beast that looks ready to tear through your collection. The GameStop-exclusive blood-splatter deco makes an already impressive figure even better, I just wish more hands and heads were included, but for this price point, this is a can’t miss.
