DesignerCon (DCon), the art, design, and collectibles mega-show, announced it will depart Anaheim, CA and make a new home in Las Vegas, Nevada for its upcoming 19th annual convention, taking place November 15-17, 2024. DCon 2024 will be held at The Expo at World Market Center (WMC) in Las Vegas for the first time, embracing the brand’s artist-first ethos to celebrate collectible toys, customs, and designer apparel as well as the latest in urban, underground, and pop art design. The 2024 convention plans to welcome hundreds of global vendors, artists, and designers and will feature a diverse array of products as well as expanded programming, including an exclusive DCon after party in Las Vegas. In special collaboration this year, MEDICOM TOY will unveil an exclusive Keith Haring x Coca-Cola BE@RBRICK at the event to honor the artist’s lasting legacy and work. Alongside MEDICOM TOY, fan-favorites Good Smile Company, How2Work, and others are already confirmed to return to DCon this year, with Erostika, home of Rockin’ Jelly Bean, to make its first-ever DesignerCon appearance. Acclaimed artist Kasing Lung will also make his first-ever United States appearance and signing, presenting exclusive products at the show. Good Smile will also unveil a redesigned DCon mascot featuring their signature HELLO character style. Tickets for DesignerCon 2024 will go on sale this summer.

“We are immensely grateful to bring DesignerCon back for its 19th iteration on November 15-17 this year, and we could not be more excited to welcome our global fans to our new home at The Expo at WMC, located in the heart of the Art’s Direct in Fabulous Las Vegas,” said Ben Goretsky, founder of DesignerCon. “Our longtime former location in Anaheim, CA was an incredible place to build and grow DesignerCon into the world’s premiere art, design, and collectibles destination, and we anticipate that our new home in Vegas will allow us to make this year’s show the most remarkable and diverse DCon yet. Thank you to our new and returning partners and artists for their continued dedication to bringing the best art, design, and collectibles to DesignerCon. We look forward to welcoming our attendees to Vegas and unveiling further exciting updates and details of our expanded programming in the coming months.”

DesignerCon 2024 will move from its longtime residence in Anaheim, CA to its new home at The Expo at WMC in Las Vegas for the first time. Taking place Friday, November 15th through Sunday, November 17th, DCon will be a focal point of November events in the city, coinciding with other exciting cultural moments such as F1 Las Vegas. The opening evening of the convention, held on Friday, November 15th, will offer first access and bonus programming to VIP ticket holders, with general admission access resuming November 16-17 for all other DesignerCon attendees.

DCon is set to unveil its most artist-centric show to date, with the anticipated return of many of the convention’s longtime vendors. Japanese designer toy brand MEDICOM TOY has already confirmed its return to DCon, the only event in which the company participates in the United States. The brand will once again offer exclusive items at their booth and will feature talented artists such as RHYMEZLIKEDIMEZSoey MilkThe London PoliceTOUMA, and Kodone, who will each bring their unique perspective and styles to the BE@RBRICK collectible.

DesignerCon, MEDICOM TOY, and Coca-Cola will also collaborate to honor the late American artist Keith Haring this year. Haring, a staunch believer in art’s accessibility to all audiences, was known for his iconic pop art imagery infused with social and political messaging. Emerging from the New York City graffiti subculture of the 1980s, Haring was mentored by Andy Warhol and went on to develop his signature style of figures in vibrant colors contained within stark black outlines. DCon and MEDICOM TOY will collaborate to celebrate the artist and his lasting influence with a DesignerCon exclusive Keith Haring x Coca-Cola BE@RBRICK design, set to be unveiled for the first time at the November 15-17, 2024 show.

Fan-favorite collectibles companies Good Smile Company and How2Work have also already confirmed their return to DesignerCon 2024, while horror, punk rock, and alternative culture brand Erostika, well-known for their Rockin’ Jelly Bean line, will make its first-ever appearance at The Expo at WMC this year. Kasing Lung, the internationally-acclaimed artist and illustrator behind Labubu, will touch down in Las Vegas for his first-ever United States appearance at DesignerCon. Lung will share special products and exclusive work and will host a signing at the event. In addition to their presence as a vendor, Japan’s Good Smile Company will also specially collaborate with DCon to redesign the show’s mascot in their classic HELLO character style. DesignerCon will announce further updates to its slate of vendors, artists, and programming in the coming months.
