Easter Gift Idea: Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla – Godzilla Transforming Egg Figure Review

Easter’s almost here—so what do you get the kaiju fanatic in your life? How about an egg… Godzilla?
Thanks to Bandai Namco, you can grab a fun, egg-shaped version of everyone’s favorite monster. Based on Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla, this transforming figure stands at about 4.5 inches tall and shifts from egg to kaiju with surprising ease.
Now, I’m not great with transforming figures—Transformers look cool but usually stress me out. But this one? Super simple. Even with my limited transforming skills, I had no issues at all. The transformation is quick, satisfying, and doesn’t feel flimsy.
The design is stylized and fun, giving off retro vibes that reminded me of the old Meteorbs from Masters of the Universe. It’s not overly detailed, but that’s part of its charm—it knows exactly what it is: a compact, gimmick-driven collectible that’s more fun than serious.
As for negatives? Honestly, none. This isn’t a high-end S.H. MonsterArts release, and it doesn’t try to be. It’s a novelty figure with personality, and it hits the mark. It’s a great little piece to throw into an Easter basket or to add a bit of fun to your Godzilla shelf.
You can find it now at Target and online retailers. If you’re looking for something unique and kaiju-themed this Easter, this transforming Godzilla egg is a solid pick.
