Insane Clown Posse Release New Single and Video: Chris Benoit

Words can’t really describe my shock.

I just saw that the Insane Clown Posse are putting out a new album in August. That isn’t the shocking part: their lead single and video is titled Chris Benoit.

Yeah.

As a huge fan of the Canadian Crippler Chris Benoit, I was in complete shock like everyone else over the murder/suicide incident involving himself, his wife and his son. There are many that condemn him, but honestly, I don’t know the whole story, and I don’t know if anyone ever will. I have researched that his brain was in such bad shape, that it looked like that of an 80 year old person with Alzheimers.

But in the ring, Benoit was one of the best, and I will say it to this day. So to see a song with his name from a rap group, I was a little shocked and worried. After watching the music video…I still don’t know what to think. I mean, the video itself has great production quality to it, and the song is eerily catchy. One listen, and its easy to see why such a song bears the name of Benoit: it speaks of a man mentally breaking down and losing control. His voice is even said to be transposed into the music.
