So far, the surprise drop of 2024 goes to a mobile game featuring Image Comics/Skybound Entertainment’s hit comic book and animated series Invincible. Invincible: Guarding the Globe takes you into the blood-soaked world of Invincible, as you call the shots like Cecil Stedman, dispatching teams across the globe. 

This is an idle squad RPG set in the Invincible universe featuring a new storyline never seen in the comics or Amazon Prime TV series, with graphic multi-battle action, character collection, squad management, idle features, and super-powered visuals. Join the Global Defense Agency (GDA) as you protect the world from aliens, villains, and more with the help of the Guardians of the Globe! 

What is an idle squad RPG? You set your teams, rank them up, equip them, and watch them do battle as you trigger special moves throughout the fight. You can recruit heroes and villains from across the Invincible universe, like Omni Man, Rex Splode, the Mauler twins, and more. The multi-battle system lets you set teams to fight waves of villains, all in the background as you reap the rewards later. 

This is an addicting game. As a mobile game fanatic, this has kept my attention all week. It’s easy to learn but takes thought and skill to master. I love the multi-battle system, as you feel like the head honcho, dispatching heroes to squash threats worldwide. This is the best new mobile game I have played in years, and I hope we see expansions to keep the adventures going!
