Let’s Kickstart This! The Sires of Time

Right now, there are a lot of very high quality and creative projects up on the crowdfunding site, Kickstarter. So it is my pleasure to shine the spotlight down on something that caught my eye at first sight: The Sires of Time.

An intricately detailed and visually unique book, The Sires of Time by J.M. Dragunas stands out above your average graphic novel. Here’s the scoop on the book, straight from the Kickstarter page:

THE BOOK! 

Featuring over 100 ivory pages, this HARDCOVER collection (Measuring 7.5 by 9.5in) includes chapters 1 through 4, including a written chapter featuring spot illustrations from a guest artist! ( Hint hint, his initials are GG )

THE STORY!

Morgan Le Fey, in a sinister attempt to dethrone King Arthur, has destroyed Excalibur, and sent its shards throughout the ages. Now, through the help of the mysterious White Knight, the Sires of Time, must embark on a perilous quest through the ages to reclaim the missing shards. The shards hold near ultimate power to all those who hold them, and finding, let alone reclaiming them is no easy task. Can the knights find all the missing pieces and return to their proper time before Morgan Le Fey destroys all of Britain?

The book has painstaking detail, from the character artwork to the borders that grace each page. This is something cool, something different, and even has a print by one of my favorite artists, Ben Templesmith (Dagon, The Squidder).
