Every once in a while, a story comes along that hits all the right emotional notes — heart, humor, and heroism — all wrapped in a package that feels straight out of a Saturday morning cartoon. Ten-Ton Titan Terrier from Papercutz/Mad Cave Studios is one of those special stories. Written by David Pepose and brought to life through the stunning art of Ornella Greco, this graphic novel blends the spirit of Godzilla, the heart of The Iron Giant, and the warmth of every great dog movie into one unforgettable adventure.

At the center of the story is Sam, a young man who lost his parents the day colossal titans invaded from space. On that same fateful day, he met Holly — a tiny, scrappy puppy who would go on to change his life forever. Years later, when a mysterious titan armor crashes to Earth, it’s Holly — not a trained soldier or scientist — who becomes the only being capable of piloting it. What follows is a heartwarming, action-packed journey of friendship, loss, and believing in the impossible, proving that sometimes the smallest among us can make the biggest difference.

Greco’s art is a showstopper, bursting with animation-like energy that makes every scene feel alive. The expressive character designs, cinematic angles, and fluid motion give the book a vibrant, animated quality, like a lost Pixar or Studio Trigger project brought to the page.

Pepose delivers an amazing story that hits deep emotional chords without losing its sense of fun. It’s a story that celebrates resilience, love, and the timeless bond between a boy and his dog — even when that dog happens to pilot a ten-ton mech. Beneath the larger-than-life spectacle lies a powerful message: it’s okay to bet on the underdog.

With stunning visuals, heartfelt storytelling, and an uplifting message that will resonate with readers of all ages, Ten-Ton Titan Terrier is a masterpiece of comics for the younger crowd.

Rating: 5 out of 5A thunderous, tender, and triumphant tale that reminds us all that heroes come in all sizes — even with four paws.
