SDCC 2012: Marvel's Upcoming Films-Ant Man, Iron Man 3, Thor 2, Captain America 2

Marvel is on a roll!

At Saturday’s Marvel Films panel, Marvel showed off the titles and release dates for its upcoming films, with a few surprises. The big surprise for us came in the form of the announced Ant Man, which has been in the works forever. To be directed by Edgar Wright (Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World), this will most likely catch a lot of people off guard in a good way.

Iron Man 3 was talked of the most, with Ben Kingsley confirmed to play the armored avenger’s most notable foe, the Mandarin. Thor 2 was given a new title: Thor-The Dark World, which is scheduled to release November 8th, 2013. The Captain America sequel is now known as Captain America: The Winter Soldier which hits theaters April 4th, 2014. As we reported yesterday, The Guardians of the Galaxy is hitting theaters on 8/1/2014.
