I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again—I’m a massive fan of The Rocketeer. Dave Stevens’ iconic creation perfectly captures the golden age of pulp heroes, blending sci-fi thrills with nostalgic charm. Whether it’s the classic comics or the unforgettable 1991 film, The Rocketeer holds a special place in pop culture—and in my collection.

Over the years, I’ve picked up quite a few Rocketeer figures—from Funko to Diamond Select to Fresh Monkey Fiction. But today, we’re looking at what might just be the definitive version: LooseCollector’s 1/12 scale Rocketeer, complete with his loyal pup, Butch.

Right out of the box, this figure impresses. With 32 points of articulation, The Rocketeer is highly poseable and built to handle action. He comes with both helmeted and unhelmeted heads, four pairs of interchangeable hands, his signature pistol, and of course, the iconic rocket pack. LooseCollector doesn’t skimp on quality—the figure is solid, with tight joints (pro tip: heat him up a bit before moving joints to keep things smooth), and features sharp sculpting and clean paintwork.

Switching out the hands and heads is a breeze, and every part of this figure feels premium. The detailing on the jacket, gloves, and helmet is exceptional. Butch is a fun bonus, adding a bit of personality and charm to the overall set.

The 1/12 scale is hands-down my favorite scale for figures, and this one hits every mark. From sculpt to articulation to accessories, this is easily my favorite Rocketeer figure to date. If you’re a fan of the character or just love high-quality action figures, don’t sleep on this one—grab him before he rockets off the shelves.
