Today marked some really good news and bad news at the same time.

First, the good news: the numbers for TNA’s Slammiversary PPV are in, and they are outstanding. Early estimates put the PPV buys between 14,000-15,000. This is up from the usual buy rate for a TNA PPV, which hovers around 7,000-10,000.

On to the bad news: on last week’s Impact Wrestling, Chris Sabin injured himself in a three way match against Zema Ion and Austin Aeries. Sabin had just returned from having months off due to a torn ACL. He has now torn his other ACL, which will likely require surgery, putting the X-Division star out for another six to nine months. Bad news for one of TNA’s best X-Division stars, and bad news for fans of Impact Wrestling.
