I have been meaning to write up my thoughts on Neon Alley for some time, so here it is.
Neon Alley is a VIZ Media’s 24/7 subscription channel that features round the clock anime. Sound too good to be true? Well then, you are missing out! The channel is only available as an application on the PS3, and features some of the biggest names in the world of anime: looking for Bleach, Inuyasha, or the epic Death Note? They are right down the alley.
So, my firsthand experience with this is that it is painless to install, and what you get is a wonder to behold. As I stated above, you get tons of cool series, all played with multiple episodes, but that’s not all. Anime films debut on Neon Alley from time to time, like Bleach: Hell Verse, which premiered this past weekend, and Berserk The Golden Age 1, which was on Neon Alley way before it’s retail release.
User friendliness is key here, with an easy to use schedule available on the channel, as well as a schedule online, which is kept up to date. Some anime play in HD when available, which is a great thing for only 6.99 a month. So, if you are into anime and on the fence about Neon Alley: make the jump, you will be glad you did. Plus, there’s even a trial period so you can check it out before signing up. I highly recommend Neon Alley, it’s an anime lovers dream come true. Now, on to the cyber Monday sale…
