Actor extraordinaire Sir Christopher Lee passed away on Sunday, June 7th. News broke today as his wife held off on notifying the press to make sure all of the family was notified first. He was 93.
Lee portrayed so many iconic characters in film: from Dracula, Sherlock Holmes (and Mycroft Holmes), Count Dooku from Star Wars Episodes II and III, Saruman in the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies, and far more. Lee had a commanding presence to him, from his stature to his booming voice.
On behalf of everyone at Pastrami Nation, I would like to extend our condolences to the Lee family, all of his friends and colleagues. Rest in Peace, sir.
