Action Figure Review: BST AXN Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder Review

Now you face…The Shredder.
For this review, I turn my attention to the most iconic and well-known Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles villain of all time, the Shredder. From the BST AXN lineup from The Loyal Subjects, the main antagonist for the heroes in a half shell comes ready to slice and dice in all his 1/15th scale glory.
The BST AXN lineup is a 5-inch figure line that spans various properties- from Lord of the Rings to Beetlejuice to the TMNT. The Shredder is a fantastic figure: the sculpt and articulation are amazing and looks true to the classic TMNT animated series. Excellent paint apps, and attention to detail- this is a great representation of the antagonist of all antagonists. The accessories are stacked as well, as the figure comes with a sword, trident, extra hands, and a communicator that features everyone’s favorite evil brain, Krang.
I had a blast posing this figure and working all of the articulation. With 31 points of articulation, you can get some fantastic poses. Even with shoulder pads, articulation isn’t hindered at all. Shredder has more articulation than some six and seven-inch figures on the market, which is extremely impressive.
This is an absolutely fantastic rendition of Shredder. When you think about all you get here for the price point, it’s an absolute steal. The Loyal Subjects are on fire with their TMNT lineup, and honestly, I can’t wait to see who’s next. Ace Duck? Maybe The Last Ronin? The possibilities are endless when you look at the long, fantastic history of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Make sure to scoop up this Shredder; it’s one of the ultimate versions of the character to date.
