Anime Expo Takes Over Los Angeles July 4th-7th

(Victor Valley)– With more than 110,000 expected attendees, Anime Expo (AX) is one of the largest pop culture conventions in the world. With an emphasis on anime, manga, cosplay and more, the convention will once again return to the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 4th-July 7th, with a preview night on July 3rd.
Located at 1318 S. Figueroa St. in Los Angeles, Anime Expo brings together fans from all over the world for their love of the popular artforms known as anime and manga. Over 900 hours of anime themed programming is set, along with a variety of anime themed events and activities.
This year’s convention will feature an exclusive screening of Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back—Evolution, the sequel to the popular 1998 animated Pokemon film. Also, the convention will host the My Hero Academia Season 4 Premiere presented by Funimation. The anime is one of the most popular series around right now, making the premiere one of the most popular events at this year’s convention. Special guests at the premiere event include voice actors Kaori Nazuka (Toru Hagakure), David Matranga (Shoto Todoroki), Patrick Seitz (Endeavor), and Ricco Fajardo (Mirio Togata).
With more than 27 years of being a centerpiece in Japanese pop culture, AX has become the premier event to introduce the newest anime films, television series, AMVs (anime music videos), fashion, video games, manga, dance, music concerts, and exhibitors to its more than 350,000 attendees over four days.
