BST AXN Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Rat King Review

I’ve always been a fan of The Loyal Subjects (TLS) and their incredible figures. As long-time supporters of TLS since their vinyl Transformers days, Pastrami Nation is excited to delve into their BST AXN line. Today, we’re focusing on the villainous Rat King from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IDW comic series!

The figure is packaged in TLS’s signature window box. There are two versions of Rat King: the standard version available at most retailers and a Glow-in-the-Dark version exclusive to Target. This review will cover both versions, accompanied by videos, for a more detailed look. Rat King comes equipped with an alternate head sculpt, extra hands, a flute, and, naturally, a rat.

This figure introduces a brand new TLS design, perfectly capturing Rat King’s lanky, eerie presence. The articulation is impressive, although the coattails slightly restrict the leg movement. The ease of swapping out hands and the head is commendable. The sculpting is exceptional, featuring intricate details on the face and the coat.

While I will always have a soft spot for the animated series version of Rat King, this figure is a fantastic addition to any collection. It scales well with the Turtles and looks great on display. Make sure to add Rat King to your TMNT villain lineup!
