Episode VIII Officially Star Wars: The Last Jedi

The next chapter in the Star Wars franchise becomes The Last Jedi

This morning brought a great disturbance in the force as StarWars.com broke the news: Episode VIII now has an official title, and its Star Wars- The Last Jedi.

Written and directed by Rian Johnson, The Last Jedi is the next chapter in the Skywalker saga, and is poised to hit theaters December 15th, 2017.

And we are only in January… time machine, anyone?
