Let’s Kickstart This! 10 YEARS of ALTERNA – a Celebration of Creator-Owned Comics

It’s been awhile, but let’s take a look into the wonderful world of crowdfunding and spotlight a project that deserves to see the light of day: in other words, Let’s Kickstart This!

We venture into the world of sequential art once again this time as we look at the 10 Years of Alterna! Alterna has brought the world some kick ass books like FUBAR, The Chair, and Unit 44 just to name a few, and now the ten year anniversary is already here! With that, Alterna is bringing a character guide to spotlight their various creator owened books, as well as an anthology. Check out the project info straight from the Kickstarter page:

The 40 page character guide is a LIMITED EDITION release with just 250 in print.  The Alterna AnniverSERIES anthology will boast 200 pages (and if we hit certain stretch goals, we’ll upgrade the book’s interior and cover stocks, and add an extra 200 pages PLUS make it full color!) will have a larger print run and will also be distributed in retail stores across the world.

The $3500 goal will cover the print runs of the character guides (full color) and anthology (black & white), shipping, and kickstarter fees.  The more we raise, the more we’ll be adding on! There might even be a hardcover option in the works if we reach $15,000)
