The 2021 Golden Globe Nominations

The 78th annual Golden Globes is right around the corner, and with it comes the start of the major awards season. Celebrating the best that television and film have to offer, the ceremony is set to air Sunday, February 28th, on NBC.
This year Netflix led the nominations, including the David Fincher directed “Mank,” which scored six award nods. “The Crown” also led the television nods, with a total of six nominations. Not far behind is “Schitt’s Creek,” with five nominations: Best Actor, Actress, Supporting Actor and Actress, and best comedy series.
Disney also had a solid showing, with “Hamilton” earning a Best Musical or Comedy Film nod, “The Mandalorian” for best drama series, and both “Soul” and “Onward” competing for Best Animated Film.
