UFOlogy TPB Review
UFOlogy keeps mystery at its core

Although not the most original story told on the subject of alien encounters and UFO’s, UFOlogy does bear a striking resemblance to some of the best stories ever told.
Becky is a regular high school student, just trying to get through school and live her life. She has never wanted to be recognized or be anything special. Malcolm on the other hand, he wants a lot more than he has. He is looking for meaning in his life, and also looking for answers that lay in the stars. Becky soon receives a strange mark from a mysterious alien, and a mystery she never knew she needed starts to unfold before her eyes. With the help of her eccentric classmate Malcolm, she starts to uncover a truth about their family’s pasts, as it leads them both down a path of self-discovery.
The story has a strong resemblance to some of my favorite stories on film, ‘E.T’ and ‘Super 8’ immediately come to mind. With a hint of ‘The X-Files’ thrown in, and some ‘Twin Peaks’ to top it off. It is layered in mystery, and every new page reveals something new. It is well paced and written really well. The artwork takes a little bit of getting used to, but it is a small distraction, as it doesn’t take anything away from the story.
Whether you are a believer or not, this is a great book filled with fun characters and a fun mystery at its core.
